Gardening was Dorothy’s true passion, and she had a remarkable gift for it. For many years, she lovingly tended her community garden, creating beauty with the plants and flowers she nurtured. As she grew older and was no longer able to care for her garden in the same way, she brought that love home with her, surrounding herself with plants and continuing to tend to them with the same care and attention.
Dorothy also had a soft spot for animals and found great pleasure in cooking and baking. These simple but meaningful joys were an important part of who she was and how she spent her days.
Dorothy leaves behind her daughter, Sherylea, who will carry with her the memories of her mother and the many chapters of a life they shared.
May Dorothy be remembered whenever something beautiful grows, a beloved animal brings comfort, or the familiar warmth of something made in the kitchen fills a home.
