Edith was born in Montreal on September 9, 1918 and passed away in Kelowna on December 30, 2015.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward Robert and is survived by her sons Kenneth and Gordon, who will miss her dearly.
Edith was an extra-ordinarily social, charming lady and known by many friends in the communities of Lake Country and Kelowna. Her many interest included bridge, quilting and horse-back riding. Over the years she has been a member of the Lake Country Songsters, a volunteer of 20 years at the Kelowna General Hospital and also did meet and greet volunteering at the Kelowna airport.
All her life she enjoyed the company of her pets: horses, sheep, dogs, cats and birds.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the SPCA in her name.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on Sunday, March 13 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
