

Predeceased by her first husband Donald Laird Currie in 1973, Eleanor moved to the Okanagan Valley in 1975 with her three youngest children, where she then met Earl Wilkerson who became her partner in life for the next 48 years.
Her life with Earl included travel, many adventures, and an extensive and welcoming circle of family and friends who enjoyed the many family and friend get-togethers.
Eleanor is predeceased by stepson Bill, and survived by her children Lila (Richard), Patricia (John), Carol, Angela (Keith), Daniel (Karla), Edward (Mary), and Melvin (Helen), as well as 20 grandchildren, ( Lee, Andrew, Cameron, Lorelle, David, Elizabeth, Michelle, Peter, Brent, Amanda, Jasmine, Jacob, Craig, Andrew, Gillian, Michael, Emily, Sarah, David, Jessica) and 12 great grandchildren.
Eleanor built her many homes not with walls and possessions, but with laughter, traditions, and unconditional love.
She will always be remembered for her gentle kindness, her love of the simple pure life, and the love of family,
