1937 in Toronto, Ontario. She passed away on August 14th 2021 peacefully at her care home in
Kelowna, B.C. Liz married the love of her life on October 5, 1957 in Ontario, the late George Alfred
Brown. Liz was the loving daughter of the late Rose and Joseph Bodiz. Sister to the late Rose Cooper
and Lynn Clifton both of Ontario. She was well loved by her two daughters Lori, Cheryl and her son
Greg. She was Nana to Jessica, Jackson and Cole. Liz cherished the time spent with her family
especially her grandchildren. She spent a lot of earlier years with Jessica and Jackson attending their
events at school, sporting events and family gatherings. She loved to attend their ball games and
hockey games and was their biggest supporter. Later in life when Liz retired from Brouwer Claims
Canada where she worked 30 years, she moved to Kelowna to be closer to her daughter Cheryl and
newest grandchild Cole. Cheryl and Cole were instrumental in attending to Liz's needs as she was
diagnosed with dementia. Cole has happy memories with his Nana, they shared their love of Chinese
food, trips to the beach, walks in the garden, holidays together and he showed great empathy towards
his Nana in her last few years. Liz loved to travel and she enjoyed going to Europe and enjoyed her
annual visits to Palm Springs with her sisters. Liz loved to play golf, she bowled earlier in life and she
enjoyed playing cards. We love you forever Mom (Nana) and may you rest in peace. Mom and Dad are
together finally at last. A private cremation will be held.
