

This caring and devoted wife and mother spent her final, peaceful hours, in the wonderful care of the support team at the Mt. Tolmie Hospital in Victoria BC where she passed away on November 26.
Emma was predeceased by her husband Vernon and is survived by her son Allan, daughter Linda; her beautiful granddaughters, Chelsea and Brittany and her sister Elsie. She will be missed by numerous relatives and many friends.
Emma was born in Hay Lakes, Alberta in 1929. In 1950 she moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she met the love of her life, Vernon. Twenty-three years later (1973) they decided to move to Kelowna. In February 2015, Emma moved to Victoria to be close to her children and grandchildren.
Emma will be remembered as a talented seamstress, an avid gardener and a wonderful cook and baker.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at First Memorial Funeral Home, 1211 Sutherland Avenue on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. and a Reception will follow. Interment will follow the Reception at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 2850 Dry Valley Road, Kelowna.
