Gavin B. Johnson passed away on October 25th, 2013 in Swan Hills, Alberta, four days before his 24th birthday. Gavin will be lovingly remembered by his mother Penny, sisters Kirsten and Kendra, uncle Rod and cousin Bud, uncle Dean and aunt Amrit, uncle Greg, aunt Caroline and their children, grandpa Peter, grandpa Bud, and his special love Chelsea. Gavin was predeceased by his father Dale Johnson who passed in August, 2007. Gavin loved building drift cars, and was well-loved by all in the car community. When not working on cars, Gavin spent much of his time hunting and enjoying the outdoors. Visitation will take place Friday November 1st, 2013 from 7 - 9 pm at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road Rutland. A celebration service will be held at 4pm on Saturday, November 2nd at Mission Creek Alliance, 2091 Springfield Road with Rev. Kyle Trigg officiating.
