Hamish Lochhead

In loving memory of Hamish Lochhead. We are deeply grieved to announce the passing of our son/husband/brother and father Hamish Lochhead, born November 12th,1973 passed away August 13,2017. Hamish was born and raised in Vernon, BC and has many friends and extended family living there.

Hamish lived life to the fullest and wanted to experience everything he could. He loved to build things, go camping and fishing in quiet places, lift weights, skydive, he was an apiarist, but most especially he liked to spend time with his wife and 2 children and 2 dogs. His smile was infectious and he brought joy into any room he entered. He cared deeply for those less fortunate and could be found helping widowed children with Christmas gifts and hampers. Hamish also helped the elderly with building projects and the homeless in various ways. He could often be found at AA meetings wherever he was, getting and giving support. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Hamish is survived by his loving wife of 1 year, Ashley (Whitehouse) his son Jesse Pol, (age 25) and daughter Tavia Lochhead (age 24), his Dad, Jamie Lochhead (Linda) of Kelowna, Mom, Penny Lochhead of Enderby (William Brookfield) Sisters Meeshala Bird (Steve, Shanaya, Hudson and Lily) of Vernon, Danika Lochhead (Daxon Kowalski and Abryn) of Lumby, and Brother Cailen Lochhead (Rochelloe Youngberg) of Lake Country, maternal grandparents Bill and Lynne Nimmo of Enderby and predeceased by his paternal grandparents Jim and Mary Lochhead of Vernon.

A Celebration of Life is being held at his home August 19th for friends and family.
