Mom was born in Goodwater, Sask. She was the second to youngest of seven children. At the age of five with her mom and youngest sister, moved to B.C. and here her life and future began.
At the age of sixteen, (1950) mom started working at The Cannery, and after four years went to work at the Packing House. She was there for a number of years. In 1956 mom married our father and had three beautiful children. Years later mom took at Job at OK TEL as a Switchboard Operator which later became B.C. TEL.
Mom loved to sew so she got a job at a fabric store called "Ritchies" which years after changed to "Harleys". After leaving the fabric store she started working at "Just Cruizin " then eventually retirement followed. Mom was a fantastic cook, every Sunday homemade bread and cinnamon buns were fresh baked. She loved her country music and dancing. She enjoyed being out with her friends. Also mom had a love of gardening.
Our mother embraced life no matter her challenges and struggles. Her family was the most important thing to her. Words cannot describe how much we miss her. We have so many wonderful memories. Mom we love you, until we meet again forever in our hearts❤️.
