Janet Hilda Stielow

Known as our dear Granty Jan, she was the most gentle kind hearted woman you could ever know. She was one of 5 sisters, with many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children, and an incredible bond with her great nieces and great nephews. She spent her days puttering around her rock garden, reading, sitting with her beloved Buddy dog, taking naps by the bay window. She loved spending time doing ancestry research, and had a vast collection of coins and stamps. She spent her days boo’ing around shops with her late sister Donna, and cleaning up the kitchen after Donna’s tasmanian baking dances. Loyal to her late husband Vic to her very last breath, and dedicated to her faith before all else. She will always remain in our hearts known by her strength, her loyalty, her generosity, and her kindness. Jan was very special to us all and an incredible role model to everyone on how people should treat one another and the worlds creatures.

Though your smile is gone forever, and your hand we cannot touch, still we have so many memories of you, who we loved so much. Your memory is a keepsake with which we will never part, God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts. Now go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep, your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep.
