John was born December 10, 1933 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His family moved to Vancouver when he was five where he grew up.
John worked for Western Gypsun where his career took him to Ontario and then back to the lower mainland. In 1993 John and Lois moved to Kelowna.
He is survived by his loving wife Lois, sons Mike(Shelly) and Rob(Heidi), four grandchildren Melissa, Lee, William and Matthew and one great grandchild Kato. Also his older sister Nellie and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
John will be remembered for his quick wit and jokes. He was a great conversationalist and was always there when needed.
His grandchildren were the APPLE OF HIS EYE he will be sorely missed.
A memorial Service will take place on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 1:00pm at First Memorial Funeral Services in Kelowna, British Columbia. (1211 Sutherland Ave) 250-762-2299
