June was raised in Waterton Park, AB, which she loved so much, married her loving husband Nelson on June 9, 1951. They lived many years in Victoria, BC, where they raised their family and then spent their retirement years in Kelowna.
June is survived by her three loving daughters: Cindy (Dave Hurl), Tracy (George) Meikle, and Suzan; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Nelson and her eldest daughter Karen (Bill) Fulton.
A family gathering will be held at the Field of Honour, Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kelowna at a later date.
