Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Kerry built a life defined by hard work, generosity, curiosity, and an appreciation for good food, good books, good music and good company.
An excellent chef, Kerry was happiest in the kitchen, preparing meals for family and friends. In recent years, he found great joy in spending time with his friends upgrading “Lorenza”, his 1967 Mustang.
Kerry is lovingly remembered by his father, Alan; his sister, Corinne (Brian) and their son, Jeremy; his brother, Jason (Karen) and their children, Hannah and Dexter; his son, Cole (Kelsea) and grandchildren, Maisie and Leland; and his daughter, Lauren (Kellan) and grandchildren, Drew, Luke, and Jack. He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family, friends, former colleagues, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Kerry was predeceased by his cherished mother, Bernice ("Bunny"), his beloved niece, Alicia, and his four-legged companion and roommate, Simon. His family finds comfort in imagining that they have all reunited.
Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many friends who surrounded Kerry with unwavering kindness, companionship, and support over the past few years. Your friendship enriched his life immeasurably, and the love, laughter, and loyalty you shared with him will never be forgotten.
