Kwai-Chu "Zoe" Lun

Zoe was born on December 23, 1961, in Hong Kong to Au, Mong Hop and Law, Hing. She went to St. John Bosco Elementary School in Hong Kong where she met her sweetheart Terry Lun in grade 4. Zoe and Terry married on April 21, 1990. Zoe moved to Canada and became a landed immigrant in 1992 and embraced her new country with an open heart and mind. Zoe graduated from the Okanagan College with a Business Diploma in 2006.

Travelling was one of Zoe’s favourite interests, especially to California to visit her sister. One of her most memorable trips was to China for 3 months where she explored a wide range of provinces and even went up to Mongolia. Along with adventuring to new places, Zoe loved seafood, backyard bbq and wine. As a result, she was a dedicated employee at O’Zeki’s Restaurant and Summerhill Winery.

Zoe is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Terry L., and cat Ding-Ding; her sisters, Teresa (David), Kwai-Ha (Hung-Keung), and Fiona; her brothers, John (Elena) and Kwok-Kit; her god-daughter, Sheron; and numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, other family and friends. She is predeceased in death by her parents and sister, Suzanne, and her beloved cats, Mew-Mew, Moe-Moe and Dee-Dee. She loved and adored her husband, parents, siblings, and her nieces and nephews near and afar.

Zoe will be especially remembered for her smile and generosity by all those she touched. She loved everyone dearly to the fullest in her words and in her actions. In honour of Zoe’s wishes, a Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, November 27th at 9:00 am at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road. All friends and family are welcomed.
