

In loving memory of Mary Ann Elizabeth Field neé: Nystrom, born on February 6th, 1936, in Vancouver, BC and peacefully departed on January 13th, 2024, in Westbank, BC. Mary Ann's life was a tapestry woven with love and adorned with countless cherished moments.
A devoted wife, she met her husband Gord at Restmore – Madison Furniture, creating a love story that endured until Gord’s passing in April 2011. Mary Ann’s legacy lives on through her five children – Gord, Mike, Kerry, Scott and Laurene – their spouses, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and her siblings Margaret, Doreen, and Terry were cherished companions in the journey of life.
Mary Ann’s family fondly remembers her for the love she poured into making clothes for her grandchildren, wrapping them in warmth. An adventurer at heart, she traveled and cruised, creating lasting memories for her family to cherish.
Her generosity knew no bounds, evident in the cookies she baked for local businesses, spreading sweetness in every bite. Mary Ann’s collection of knick-knacks, including Kinder egg toys, chef figurines, Lego and Disney VSH tapes, reflected her playful spirit.
Puzzles were a shared joy, each piece symbolizing the interconnectedness of family bonds. The casino held moments of excitement, and Whitespot, her favorite, housed many moments of laughter and shared meals. Mary Ann’s legacy is etched in the simple joys she brought to her family’s lives – a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will be carried forward by those who knew her best.
