Pat was born in Kelowna June 6, 1932, to parents Jack and Margaret Ryder. She would marry her loving husband of 66 years, George Brownlee and remain in Kelowna where they raised their family. Pat was a kind, bright, vibrant, and giving person who was loved by many. She loved her family fiercely and will be missed beyond measure.
Pat was a true social butterfly and would strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone she met. She loved hosting and was a fabulous cook. She had a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome and was happiest surrounded by friends and family. Some of the many things Pat enjoyed were traveling, camping, curling, cross country skiing, bingo, volunteering and shopping (especially for grandchildren). Her joy and laughter, loving and caring personality and many great memories will carry on through her family and everyone who knew her.
Pat was predeceased by her parents, husband George, son Douglas, granddaughter Christina, son-in-law Tim, siblings Nellie, Bert, Bill, Don, George and Jackie.
Pat is survived and lovingly remembered by her children, Linda (Rick) Cichon, Darlene (Ken) Rousom and Lori Greer. Grandchildren, David, Stephanie, Melissa, Shawn, Tara, Ginny, Jessica, Tim, James, Cameron and 16 great grandchildren. Siblings, Sam, Ross, Jean, Linda, Shirley and extended family and friends.
Our family is sincerely grateful to Dr. Hendricks and the loving staff that cared for Pat in her final years at the Village at Mill Creek.
