Peter Gerbrandt passed away quietly in hospital in Kelowna on July 26, 2024 with his wife by his side.
Peter is survived by his wife of 66 years, Selma; children Rosvita (Hans), Carlos, and Claudia (James); and grandchildren Cecilia (Steve), Skye and Ryan.
Peter was born and raised in Paraguay, then moved to Uruguay as a young adult, where he married and started his family. In 1975, he brought his family to Vancouver, Canada to join some of his siblings that had come before him.
Peter loved to visit with family or friends over an ‘asado’ or a game of Kanasta which were a regular occurrence over the years. You will be missed.
