Born in 1929 in London, England.
He served in Egypt with the Royal Engineers from 1947 to 1951. After he returned to the U.K., he married Joan in June 1951, and remained married for 65 years.
He took a huge leap of faith and immigrated to Canada in 1969. He turned his hand to many challenging and varied occupations, finally retiring to Kelowna in 1989.
He was predeceased by his wife Joan, (Mum/Grandma); his sister, Naomi; Son-in-law, Brian; Brother-in-law, Martin; and his Mother and Father, Ernest and Ada; Parents-in- law, William and Elizabeth; and great-granddaughter, Margot.
He is survived by his sister Jan, in Calgary and brother John, in U.K.
He leaves the legacy of four children, Annette (Georges), Madeline, Jeremy (Linda) and Lynn.
He also leaves 9 grandchildren,and 14 great-grandchildren.
