Philip was born in Vauxhall, Alberta. In his younger years he loved sports, especially basketball. He met Ida and they moved to Vernon in 1955. He worked at Columbia Brewers and would come home to a house on a farm with many animals. They relocated to Kelowna and bought a semi-truck and created P&I Trucking. He followed this by working for other trucking companies for many years. He then retired and they did lots of travelling, fishing, camping, and enjoying the good times.
Survived by his loving wife, Ida Raber, of 66 years. Lovingly remembered by Marlene Reilly (Mike), Dwayne Williams (Marlene), Darrell Williams (Deb), Ken Williams, Phylliss Ohashi (Lawrence), Bev Simonin (Stan), Betty Kam (Randy), and all the grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
