Ramona Bernice Frances Phemister

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Ramona Bernice Frances Phemister (nee Tordoff); a wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend to all she knew. After a long battle with cancer, we lost her unexpectedly and far too soon on August 7th 2025. Ramona was born and raised in Vernon BC, then moved to Vancouver in 1977 and worked in various administrative and office management positions in the insurance and real estate businesses. Married to Scott in 1990 she devoted her life to raising a beautiful family. Recently moving to Kelowna Ramona was excited to retire in her new dream home. She is survived by her loving husband Scott Phemister, children Ross Phemister, Bailey Webber (Mike), and Madi Yuan (Jack); siblings John (JT) Tordoff, Tammy Whatman, Winnona Price, and Byron Tordoff, as well as her parents Jack and Daphyne Tordoff.

They say time has no end but as Ramona’s time on earth is complete, she will live on in our hearts for eternity. She will be sorely missed by all family and friends.

A celebration of life is being planned for September in Kelowna. No service at Ramona’s request.

Contributions to the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation for Cancer could be considered in lieu of flowers.
