Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your father and great friend. Uncle Richard will always be remembered as a kind, caring, and helpful "Uncle" who also liked to  share a few laughs with us. Of course there was also a special bond with our Dad as well, that we will always remember.
We always looked forward to visiting with Uncle Richard who would regale us with many interesting and amusing stories from the past. We wish we could have spent more time with Uncle Richard over the years. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
May the love of those around you help you through this very sad time. You and all your families are in our prayers.

When Richard passed from this life, the immediate Cone family lost a great husband, brother, father, grandfather.
 A jovial, genial and gentle personality, an inventive mind.  It was a joy to be in his presence, a superb pleasure to visit, to converse, to reminisce, Always, through the stages of growth, a wonderful sibling and companion.
 On one occasion, I told him how proud I was of the things he had produced, the ideas he originated, his various excellent accomplishments.  Such praise embarrassed him, he demurred, but I felt the words should not remain unspoken.
 He met his passing with courage and dignity.  He will surely be missed.
