Reg and family,
I am so very saddened to read of Rona's passing. Thank you for sharing the video. It brought back so many memories of Rona when I knew her in Vernon in the 70s and 80s. She was then and obviously remained a clear, grounded, calm, healthy, happy woman, proud as punch mum, and loving and loved wife. Whenever I saw her with you, Reg, there was an aura of "everything is ok at this moment in this space". How lovely to see her with such beautiful grandchildren and their parents, and to see so many photos of all your travels and good times together. My heart aches for all of you that those times did not last long enough.

I knew Rona before she and Reg moved to Kelowna. During the summer months they would spend their time at their "home" which was really a small cabin on Okanagan lake. Rona volunteered with my organization for years until they made the move. Her background in nursing proved invaluable in helping guide our seniors to the needed resources. More important was her dedication and empathy toward those less fortunate. I will always remember her and Reg riding those old bikes of theirs from the lake into town, Rona grinding away ahead of Reg. The only material luxury I remember that they pursued was a new car every three years. She was an amazing human being and will not be forgotten by those of us who have had the pleasure to have known her.
