Rosalina Hendrina Koetje

Mom was born in Breda, Holland and came to Canada in 1951 with her family. She married here in Canada to her husband Henk Koetje.

Rosalina is survived by her children, Edward Henry Koetje (Georgina), Johann Wilfred Koetje, Wilema Gertrude Charko nee Koetje (Ben), grandchildren, Carlo Rudiger Schluschen (Jenny), great-grandchildren, Mario Christian Schluschen, Mateo Rudiger Schluschen and sister Wilhelmina Earle nee Spape.

Rosalina was predeceased by her brother, John Buijs, husband, Henry Edzo Koetje, and daughter, Berendina (Benita) Rosalina Schluschen nee Koetje (Marcus).

She was a member of the Dutch Christian Reformed Church for many years. Mom had a beautiful voice and sang in the choir and was devoted to God until her passing.

Mom was strong and courageous, raising four children and working hard with Home Care in Kelowna BC for many years.

Travelling was exciting for her, making trips to Australia, Europe, Ottawa and Halifax to name just a few.

Her love for God, her children, as well as her kindness for animals and all things in nature sustained her.

She will be remembered with love by her family and her many friends!
