On September 15, 2020, Shirley Anne Jenns passed away at Kelowna Hospice House, three months after being diagnosed with terminal liver cancer.
Shirley is survived by her son Jeff Jenns (Kristy), grand-daughter Azalea Jenns-Tessier, brother Ken Royston (Alannah), sister Elaine Gagne (Maurice) of Prince George , Karen Royston (Wayne Jones) of Vernon , nephews and nieces Jay, Mike, Corina and their families.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband Dave (2013), her mother Audrey White (2012) and father, Cedric Royston (2008) and her nephew, Brian Gagne.
Shirley retired from the Bank of Montreal after many years in various branches in Port Coquitlam and Kelowna.
Shirley is fondly remembered by her “Sisters of Choice”, the Xi Beta Lambda Chapter of
Beta Sigma Phi Kelowna.
Thank you to “Team Shirley”, who helped in her care at her home and in the Kelowna Hospice House. Shirley appreciated all the visits, flowers, cards, texts, emails and phone calls from her friends and neighbours.
