Vera Blanche Douglas

DOUGLAS: Vera Blanche passed away on December 7th, 2010 in Kelowna at the age of 96 years. Vera was predeceased by her husband George in 1981 and by siblings Clarence, Fern, Howard, Elmer and Bill. She is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by two sisters Cora, Grace (John); children Pat (Neil), Jack ( Dorothy), Bob ( Noreen), Faye (Ken); grandchildren Wendy, Doug, Jim, Kim, Ron, Adrienne, Randy, Brian; great-grandchildren Andrea, Jesse, Sydney, Casey, Crystal, Emma, Megan, Samantha, Brady. Vera was a life member of the Royal Purple and a member of the Rebecca Lodge as well as a member of several senior clubs, UCW, dance clubs and many volunteer activities. A Service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road with Reverend Gordon Fletcher officiating. Interment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice in Vera’s memory would be appreciated.
