He is survived by his wife Sherry, Son Robert, Steve,Brent daughters Twyla, Mariah and grandchildren, Jordan, Nicholas, Lacy, Austin and Ravin.
Born in Ottawa, he lived on the army with his family and at the young age of 17, decided the military life was for him. He spent 26 years serving his Country, before retiring. After retiring from the army, he went on to spend 15 years as a Corrections Officer, followed by many other jobs, including, dj, motorcycle instructor, horseback guide, driving school bus dump truck and semi. Even spent time as a Kettle valley train robber! He was the driver for the royal visit for the King and Queen as well as the late Pope John Paul.
He loved horses and had several over the years and he would tell you, they are the best listeners. He loved his career and would enjoy telling endless stories of his time serving.
Most of all he loved his family and the time he spent with them.
His amazing attitude and sense of humor saw him through many hard times.
