This is indeed a very sad loss; however, also a vibrant life to be celebrated. Uncle Bill was an amazing man who touched many peoples hearts with his kindness and sense of humor. He was an incredible decorator and always quick to share a story of some of the places he’d decorated or some of the peoples houses he watched over the years. Seeing Uncle Bill was always a highlight of our annual trip to the okanagan. We will miss him dearly but know he’s dancing up a storm and playing his jews harp. He is gone but not forgotten. Love nephew David and wife Loretta.

Billie, you were like a father to me and a grandfather to my daughter you’ll always be remembered as the kindest funniest Scottish man that has ever lived

Billy was a big part of my life, and helped raise me since I was 9 years old. He's the closest thing to a Grandfather I had in Kelowna, and talk me so many things growing up. I will miss him beyond words.
May he rest in peace.

Billy has been a lovely friend over many years. As so many others can attest, he was just a delight, with his quick wit and laughter, high energy and bright spirits. He was entranced by music. even to the end, 

Billy easily made friends at SunPointe. The staff, residents and even visitors quickly connected with Billy within a couple of weeks of his recent arrival.

He had many friends through his life, wherever he went. I know that he has blessed so many of us with his kindness, thoughtfulness and caring. Billy will be greatly missed and fondly remembered as a joyful and making-the-best-of-life guy; a real inspiration.

Like others, I envisage an over-the-top Ceilidh in heaven as the music and celebrations ring out for the return of this well-loved soul. Resting in peace? Unlikely. :)
