Our beloved husband and father went home to be with the Lord, June 17, 2019. He was born September 8, 1936 in Dallas, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Darlene Hazelip, daughter Kathy Baskin, son Bobby Dean and wife Vickie Frankum, son Steven Ray and wife Edith Frankum, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, brother Troy Gene Frankum, other loving family members and many more friends.
Bobby is preceded in death by a daughter Johnita R. Frankum, son-in-law Mike Baskin, parents: T. T. and Rose Frankum, sister Barbara Sorrells, brother Tommy Wayne Frankum, mother and father-in-law Kenneth and Johnnie Hazelip.
Bobby lived the first part of his life in Dallas and the Seagoville area. He married his loving wife Darlene Hazelip, December 12, 1953 in Kleberg, Texas. For the past 40 years he has lived in the Kemp area. He loved camping with his many friends. Bobby was a great fan of cards and dominoes. He worked in concrete all his life. He ran his own company "Frankum Concrete Construction" until retiring in 1998. Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the States and as a medic in Germany for 18 months.
Bobby was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Interment at Baker Cemetery in Tolosa, Texas.
