Ernest "Ernie" Miron Garner was born in Paris, Texas June 6, 1944 to parents Roy and Dahlia Beatrice (Bartlett) Garner and entered into eternal rest on April 2, 2019 at the age of 74. Ernie married the love of his life, Carolyn on February 9, 1968 in Dallas. He served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Ernie was self employed in the automotive industry. He enjoyed doing yardwork, fishing and attending the Rockin' Country Church in Kemp. Antiques were interesting to Ernie and he loved to "stop and swap". He was a very special man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ernie was preceded in death by; his parents, brothers; Ricky Garner, Wayne Garner, and sister: Dorothy Williams.
He is survived by; his wife Carolyn Garner of Gun Barrel City, daughter Denise Vilim and Eric of Grand Prairie, son William Garner of Dallas, granddaughter Aeris Vilim and grandson Rowan Vilim of Grand Prairie, sister Peggy Renfro and Charles of Abbott, niece Melody Renfro of Irving, nephew David Renfro of Abbott, other loving family members and many more friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Rockin Country Church in Ernie's name would honor him.
