

Thomas F. Lightfoot was born on August 5, 1942 in Dallas to parents “A.P.” and Mary Joyce (Carroll) Lightfoot and into eternal rest on July 28th 2015 at the age of 72. Thomas served in the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad in his younger years, then became a member of the Clock and Watch Makers Association to work for Bulova, Seiko , and himself where he manufactured jewelry as well as watch repair. Later in life Thomas was a social worker at Willowbrook. Thomas was a Christian by faith. He loved his dogs, gardening and researching genealogy. He was a loving, caring man who will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Katherine Banks, Mary Betty Lightfoot and Theresa Carol, brothers: Homer Lightfoot and Gary Lee Lightfoot, and a son Robert Carroll Lightfoot.
He is survived in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Welta of Kemp, daughter Sherry Ann Mojica and Elis of Mesquite, sons: Anthony Paul Lightfoot and Lana of Loxahachie, FL and Thomas Lee Lightfoot of Kemp, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Katy Lightfoot of Oklahoma, other loving family members and many more friends.
