I have a cousin, I never met, and I love him.

Jim, Sue, & Jacob, Words cannot express my sympathy for the loss of your beautiful son Benjamin. Although its been some years since we've seen each other,I still consider you guys part of my Church family and very dear friends. I know your son Ben and my son Anthony are dancing in Heaven with Jesus and for that, I'm grateful! Today in Ben's memorial service the young man who sang "I will Rise" was amazing. That song has meant so much to me since the very first time I heard it and today, being my sons 9th birthday in Heaven it really "spoke" to my heart.  We share a common bond that no parent should ever have to share and that is the death of a son. The short yet wonderful time had, that I've known you Sue,  just highlights the impact that Ben's short life imparted on Earth also.  My heart broke in two when I heard the news;  YOU have loved the unlovable in the medical field, why you! May you be consoled with the reality that one day, not too far off really,, .like taking off a heavy coat, you will see him again without his burdensome heavy coat also.
