Carol A. (nee Ormsby) Stein, of Kenmore, NY entered into rest on April 1, 2026 age age 86. Beloved wife of the late Gregory P. Stein, PhD; devoted mother of Emily (John Castaneda) Stein, Erica (Rob) Peltier, Kirsten (Jose Areas) Stein and the late Tracey Stein; cherished grandmother of Mikayla, Lola, Miles and Oscar; loving daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (nee Majers) Ormsby; dear sister of 12 siblings; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Carol graduated from Mount Marty College, South Dakota, in 1960 with a Bachelors Degree in English. She was the long time Executive Director for the Council of International Visitors, Buffalo, NY and a devoted yoga teacher at the Himalayan Institute.
