Dave was a wonderful, kind, and generous man. I will be forever grateful for the joy he brought into my mom’s heart over the many years they shared together. He loved his entire family and I feel blessed that Lindsay, Lucas, Beau, and I became a part of it. We will all miss him dearly.

One of my favorite memories will always be you taking Lucas and Beau down by the water whenever we ate at Shores. They loved walking on the dock and along the water with you. Thank you for welcoming me into your family, making me delicious food whenever I came to visit, and for being such a great grandpa to Lucas and Beau. We will think of you always and miss you forever. Until me meet again. 

P.S. I’m still getting junk mail for you at my house. I have no idea how your name got linked to our address. I’ve always been annoyed by it because it’s just extra paper that I have to shred. But when I got mail for you on Friday, it made me smile.


I will miss his personality as one of the best I met in my lifetime. May your memories of him give you comfort
