I am so sorry to hear of Beth's passing last year. Beth was a wonderful and unique person that i haven't seen in 30 years but still think of often. We kept in touch until i moved West. I believe the last time i saw Beth was in Niagara Falls while i was back visiting. She showed me her ring and told me she was getting married. I hope she had a nice life and marriage since. Many times since Google was created, I have searched her name and this is the first time i got a result. My condolences to her family.  I only met her grandmother and her younger sister, Kelly (who might remember me with some hints) but it was a long time ago.

I'm so sorry to learn of Ms. Newton's passing. She was such a dedicated teacher, and an important part of City Honors' music program.  We are so grateful to have had her be a part of our children's music experience.

To my aunt Beth . I will miss the great times I had with her like helping out with being an entrepreneur  , going to festivals working at tables / talking to you , Going to the movies especially her and my uncle seeing Twilight movies , going to the mall ,  seeing her at gatherings   ,I will miss her so much. Always enjoyed being able to walk into her room and share a 'Hello!' We would talk about you, your family, and her students. Her room was always open and she welcomed the company, no matter how busy she was or how she felt. She was always a loving, caring soul who enjoyed teaching and helping others grow.

Beth was my long term substitute in 2008 while I was on maternity leave. She was an incredible educator who worked tirelessly to bring her passion for music to life. I still have the vase that she graciously gave me at the end of her year at JFK! She was loving, smart, funny, warm, and creative. Beth, you made so many people happy. Wishing you eternal peace~you will not be forgotten!

Beth was foremost in my memory in directing the students at the Keeping the Dream Alive Assembly at City Honors. She was a vital force and an inspirational Director. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I had the privilege of working with Beth at City Honors from 2009-2021. She had a true passion for music and for sharing that passion - and igniting it - in her students. 

She was not only a fantastic, caring teacher - but a wonderful human being. 

May her memory be a blessing.

She was such a wonderful woman and made such a huge impact on my son,  you will be greatly missed.
