Helena A. (nee Scharmer) Hoca, of Pittsburgh, PA and formerly of Kenmore, NY, entered into rest on September 18, 2021 at age 98. Beloved wife of the late Myron M. Hoca, devoted mother of Claudia Hoca, Theodore Hoca, and Dr. Renata (Dr. Richard Ambrosino) Hoca; cherished grandmother of Regina Fowler, Christopher Hoca, Jonathan Hoca, Katie Adams, Elena Re and Christina Ambrosino; adored great-grandmother of James, Mariah, Quintin, Jane, Ruby, Nora, Max, Amelia and Isabella; loving daughter of the late Alois and Luise Scharmer; dear sister of Marie Luise Utrankah, Sigrid Fojan, and the late Gisela, Josef, Richard and Karl Scharmer; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home, 3070 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, NY 14217 on Friday (October 1, 2021) from 5-8pm where a funeral service will be held on Saturday (October 2, 2021) at 10am.
