Albert Joseph Rodriguez, age 82, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Al was born May 10, 1938 to Soledad Arijo Rodriguez and Manuel Rodriguez. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Hettie for 25 years, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, uncle and friend. Al enjoyed talking, taking pictures, travel and eating. He loved his family and spending time with them. Al will be loved and missed by all that knew him.
Albert is survived by his wife, Hettie Lee Upchurch Rodriguez; son Phil Rodriguez; daughter Pattie Brock (Charlie); son Mike Shipley; and daughter-in-laws Cathy Poss and Paula Shipley, sisters Shirley Yeatts and Betty Orndorff. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephew.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Soledad Arijo Rodriguezand, seven siblings, and son Jimmy Shipley.
A visitation for Al will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, December 22, from 12:00 PM to 3:00. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 3:00 Pm at the funeral home
