Barbara Coffey

Barbara Coffey, born on December 21, 1941, quietly stepped into the presence of her Lord and Savioron October 15, 2025, at the age of 83. She was a resident of Marietta, Georgia. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was a avid gardener and award winning hairstylist. Barbara loved going to the beach with family and friends.

Barbara is survived by daughters, Alicia Coffey, Sonja Hines and husband Benny; grandsons, Chris Austin and wife Layla, Connor Austin, Molly Montague and husband Jon, Ben Hines and wife Molly Rose; great grandchildren, Raelynn Ann Austin. Maddox and Monroe Montague, Tilly Bud and Norma Ray Hines-Trostel, sisters Margaret Holland ,Teresa McElroy, several nieces and nephews.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Nolan Coffey, parents Edgar and Vida Starnes; sisters Jeanette Earwood, Joyce Hedrick; brothers W.L and Reynold Starnes

A visitation will be held at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, Chapel Mausoleum, located at 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia, 30152, on October 20, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

The funeral service will follow at the same location at 3:00 pm.

Entombment will take place at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, Chapel Mausoleum, on October 20, 2025.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.
