Daniel was of Irish-decent with a love and extreme passion for History, travel, and animals. He also had a love for reading and writing. He was a member of Mensa International High IQ Society and was known by his family as being a walking talking encyclopedia! His hobbies included: Scrooge McDuck (aspired to swim in a pool with money), loving on animals, and his membership in Mensa. He prided himself on time spent with family as well.
Daniel leaves with his wife, Ann Cody, his daughter, Danielle Detten (Robert), and 3 grandchildren, Catherine, Tayler, and Tarynne beautiful memories to cherish.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine Cody and his daughter Lisa Marie Cody.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to your local ASPCA, local rescue, or local humane society.
