David Keith Grant, age 63, of Kennesaw, died Sunday, February 20, 2022. Mr. Grant grew up in Kennesaw and was a 1976 graduate of North Cobb High School. He also attended Kennesaw College. David worked in retailing as an Electrician. He was preceded in death by his father Bobby and his daughter Julie. David is survived by his son Douglass and his wife Abigail Grant, his mother Mildred Grant, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
David was a member of Kennesaw United Methodist Church, and was a Freemason. He was a member, and Past Master (2017), of Meyerhardt Lodge #314 in Kennesaw. David also was the Past Master (1998) of Oak Bowery Lodge #81 in Ellijay.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 24, from 6-8pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. A Chapel service will take place on Friday at the funeral home beginning at 2pm with Pastor Wallace Wheeles officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Kennesaw. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Kennesaw Methodist or Shiloh Methodist food pantry.
