David George Murphy

September 21, 1949 – January 25, 2025

David George Murphy, of Easton, Maryland, passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on September 21, 1949, in Easton, he was the son of George and Laura Murphy, who preceded him in death.

David was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, known for his unwavering dedication to his family. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his loved ones, always putting his family first. His commitment to his wife, Kim, and the wonderful upbringing he gave to his children, Courtney and Eric, left a lasting mark on those who knew him.

David had a deep love for golf, a game he enjoyed playing in his spare time, and he relished spending quality moments with his family and his two dogs, Lucy and Sadie. He will be remembered not only for his hard work but also for his kind heart and his ability to make those around him feel loved and valued.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kim, his daughter Courtney Steele and her husband Michael, his son Eric Murphy and his wife Katie, and his three amazing grandchildren, Ethan Steele (18), Carter Murphy (6), and Madilyn Murphy (3).

David is now reunited with his parents, George and Laura, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. A true family man, his legacy of love, hard work, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life.
