David Mark Nieland, age 68, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. He was born November 14, 1956 to the late Henry and Aurelia Nieland. David enjoyed many things in life including traveling, golfing and music. Music was David's true passion, whether it was singing or listening to music. David loved his family dearly and he will be missed. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
David is survived by his wife of twelve and a half years Joan Nieland, daughter; Meghan Nieland, step daughter, Amber Simmons (Robert), sisters; Linda Banks and Sharon Nieland, ang grandchildren; R.J., Eli, Yva, and Micha Simmons.

A visitation for David will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, followed by a celebration of life at 10:00 AM.
