Doris H. Bowman, 86, of Kennesaw, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 29, 1pm at the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Dr. Bryant Harris officiating. Entombment will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bowman was a member of Mars Hill Presbyterian Church in Acworth and a homemaker. She was born November 27, 1925 in Bessemer, PA to William and Mary Henry and will be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.
Those who survive Mrs. Bowman are her Husband of 60 years, Neal Bowman of Kennesaw; Sons, Keith and Wife Nancy Bowman of Kennesaw, Glenn and Wife Marlene Bowman of Marietta, Dale and Wife Donna of Canton; Sister, Joan Pilkington of Orlando, FL. Six Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren also survive.
The Bowman Family will receive Friends on Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Doris Bowman’s memory to Heritage Hospice at 3315 Hilltop Drive Marietta, GA 30066.
