Dorothy Edith (Brown) Pasinski, age 93, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2021. Dorothy was born in Detroit, Michigan, on August 16, 1927 to her late parents, Rose Ann Gray Brown and Robert Brown. Dorothy earned her Bachelor’s and Master's Degree in Education from Wayne State University. She taught elementary school for 25 years in Dearborn Michigan. Dorothy was a family woman who loved spending time with her family and friends and entertaining them. She was a faithful member of Kennesaw First Baptist Church for many years. She truly loved the Lord and studying God's word. Dorothy also loved to introduce the younger generations to old classic movies. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Andrew Carter; brother, Bruce Cunningham; and a sister, Lila Bobey.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Ann and her husband Donald Curtis of Kennesaw, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Susan Hopkin of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchild Aaron and his wife Jennifer Curtis; grandchild Jonathan and his wife Skyler Curtis; grandchild Hannah Curtis and Vitor Ribiero; grandchild Priscilla Curtis; grandchild Nathanael and his wife Emily Curtis; great grandchildren Rachel, Rosalyn, Asher, Kaden, Thomas, Justice, Alyssa and Malaysia.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kennesaw First Baptist Church, 2958 N Main St, Kennesaw, Georgia. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM, from Kennesaw First Baptist Church. The burial will occur Saturday, April 10, 2021 after the funeral service at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
