Douglas K. Stone “Paw Paw”, age 76, of Acworth went to be with the Lord on Monday, 0ctober 4, 2010. With his loving family by his side he surrendered his body to God and claimed his rest. His wife and best friend Carol Casey Stone, his four children, Phyllis Coker, Kimberly McMillan, Jenny Bunn and Clifford Stone, 9 Grandchildren, two Great Grandchildren, sister Willie Maude Bryant and his loyal dog Bear Stone survive Doug. Visitation will be at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 6, from 2-4pm and 6-9pm, with the Funeral service at the Funeral Home Chapel, 3pm Thursday. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth. Though Doug may be lost to sight, his memory will always remain in our hearts.
