

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Kerry Lee Nagel, a beloved husband, father, brother, physician, and friend. Born in March 1956, Kerry radiated joy and optimism from an early age. A jovial and cheerful boy, he grew up in Miami with an early passion for boating and fishing. He had a profound desire to help others, a passion that would guide his life's work.
He earned his undergraduate degree at Florida International University and attended Nova Southeastern medical school. His dedication to his work earned him the love and respect of all who knew him.
Kerry is survived by his wife Shaula-Ann; two daughters, Danielle and Lauren; his mother, Naomi; sisters Kristine Riley and Kimberlee Hodges; brother-in-law Derek Hodges; son-in-law Dr. Peter Alexandrov; and many nieces and nephews.
Kerry's life was a testament to the power of kindness, passion, and perseverance. Though his passing leaves an unfillable void, the memories of his bright spirit and the profound impact he had on countless lives will remain forever.
We give thanks to God for the blessing of having Kerry in our lives. While we mourn his passing, we take solace in the hope of reunion in Heaven. Kerry’s unwavering faith and love remind us to trust in God’s grace, and we hold fast to the hope of one day being reunited with him in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
A celebration of his life will be held at St. Clare of Assisi, 6301 Cedarcrest Rd, Acworth, GA, on the 16th of January 2025 at 11 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Claire of Assisi’s Building Fund.
Kerry will be deeply missed but forever cherished by the multitude of lives he touched. His legacy of love, friendship, dedication, and healing will continue to inspire us all.
