Elizabeth Mae Carlson

She was born on July 28, 1913 in Sedro Wooley, Washington and grew up in Mulvane, Kansas. She later met and married Vernon Carlson in 1936 and had two sons, Jim and Denny. The family moved to Texas were they resided for 10 years and ultimately moved to Georgia in 1983.

Elizabeth Mae Carlson is preceded by her husband of 57 years, Vernon Carlson; son, Jim Carlson; and grandson, Steve Carlson. Survivors include her son, Dennis "Denny" Carlson and his wife, Judith "Judy," of Kennesaw; brothers, Wayne Kincaid and his wife, Linda, of Tennessee and Gary Kincaid and his wife, Gayle, of Missouri; sister, Mildred Long of Kansas; grandsons, Scott Carlson and his wife Jennifer "Jenny," of Paulding County, Georgia and Andy Carlson and his wife, Candace "Candy," of Paulding County, Georgia; granddaughters, Annette McDanell and her husband, Tommy, of Texas and Renee Murphy of Texas; 8 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 11, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation with Pastor Emily Case officiating. Interment at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.

Mrs. Carlson's grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Scott Carlson, Andy Carlson, Devon Zimmerman, and Isaiah Lanning.
