Born to Otis and Alma Tarleton. Mrs. Buchanan was a home maker most of her life. She was passionate about her family, sons and grandchildren. She and her husband were very active in the Kennesaw United Methodist Church with seniors and Sunday school programs. She enjoyed all types of crafts. She was a quiet, but confidant woman. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh T. Buchanan Sr. and 6 siblings Mozelle Brown; Frances Waldrop; James Tarleton; Jack Tarleton; Jean Campbell and Wendell Tarleton.
Survivors:
Three sons – Hugh Buchanan; Danny Buchanan; and Russell Buchanan
6 grandchildren
16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday, October 7, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. Wallace Wheeles officiating. Interment at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
