He was preceded in death by his mother, Fay Ray; and sister, Brenda Warnock.
He is survived by his son, Mitchell Morgan of Jackson, GA; daughter, Stacey Madish (Dan) of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, True and Morgan Madish of Acworth, GA; loving companion of 12 years, Lois Spradley of Nolensville, TN; brother, Darrell Morgan (Myra), Kenneth Ray (Theresa); sisters, Janet Whitten (Ron), Kathy Smith (Jim), several nieces and nephews.
He was born in Acworth, GA, grew up in Smyrna, Ga, and spent 9 yrs in the Air Force Reserves.
He spent many years coaching youth sports in Marietta, Ga and was an avid golfer.
A celebration of life will be held August 11th at 1:30 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge, Kennesaw, Ga.
Family will receive guests from noon until 1:30.
