I sure do miss you Uncle Flo . I think of you all of the time.  I can still hear your laugh in my head and see your beautiful white teeth and smile in my mind. I remember that pretty doll wrapped in pretty paper Santa claus brought me for Christmas at your house that beautiful Christmas morning when I just knew he was going to forget about poor little me. But you made sure I went to bed knowing that santa would never forget such a pretty little blonde headed good little girl as me. I love you my favorite uncle and I will see you soon. I will miss you my sweet uncle Floyd Taylor. I will never forget all of the good times we have had throughout our lives and the dangerous ones , such as you teaching me how to drive a standard shift in your brand new escort right down in the heart of Atlanta and how funny it was . It made me feel so good when you told me I was doing very well then about that time I forgot to Yield at an exit and a Jeep almost killed us and you Yelled out Hammer Down and I did. LOL.....The times we came to stay with you a few weeks and you always made us feel at home. I will never forget the Christmas you told me santa claus was going to bring me a pretty doll wrapped in pretty paper and you made sure I had one under the tree that year. You was my very favorite uncle but you was also my father in many ways. You were my mother's favorite brother and I know Momma Glenda is so happy to see you in Heaven with her. I am Happy for you that you are worshipping the lord and are  resting.  The stories you always told us were so amazing and watching you work on the highways in Atlanta several times momma brought us on your job encouraged me to be someone with work ethics and dreams and I really appreciated how happy you were to see that I am serving the lord and have went back to college.  It made me so Happy to hear that you were proud of me. I will never forget your last call to me In Alabama some months back to spend that quality time on the phone and preparing me that you were ready to go home soon. To me I know that had to be the hardest thing you ever had to do .But that good hour we talked and laughed and prayed is whats holding me together today . I LOVE YOU UNCLE FLOYD TAYLOR ! Floyd was  a kind and loving man. He always had uplifting words to  make me feel good about myself.  He loved the Lord with all his heart.  I will miss him. Joan, I am praying for peace and comfort for you and his family.  But, knowing he is not suffering anymore and is with the Father is a blessing for sure.  Love you, Mary
