As Gary's cousin we didn't stay in touch as much as I wish we would have. I have never forgotten going to stay with the family on vacations and the fun we would all have. Gary always made me laugh. I love him and know that one day I will get to see him again.

Gary Hall...  He is a one of a kind.  God blessed him with a caring heart and the gift of building great relationships.  He always sees the good in people and lights up a room when he walks in.  He bends over backwards to help others.  He loves everyone and in my opinion never had an enemy at Schneider.  Thanks for gracing me with Gary and the lessons I learned from him will carry with me for the rest of my life.  Thanks Gary and enjoy your life in heaven

Gary lived up the street from me my last year in Smyrna.1978. I remember him as a great guy. This news shocked me to the core. RIP, Gary & may God Bless your family!

I am truly very lucky to have known and worked with Gary. I never have laughed so much....while at work!  Gary has to be one of the most positive people I have ever met. He will be an example for me the rest of my life. Thank you for touching my soul Gary Hall. You are going to be missed by many.

I have been trying for days to express my feelings.  Seems everyone has echoed my feelings. This morning I was thinking... What if Gary were reading all of these thoughts he would be very happy with how much love he had all across the country. Proving that he was a wonderful man.    I love you too Gary!! I knew Gary from CHS...we were on the track team together. I can say he was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He had wonderful personality and a beautiful smile on his face. Gary was a fine fellow. Anyone that ever knew him would agree. I hadn't seen him in several years, but being such a big part of my family's life made him a lifelong friend just the same. You are missed Gary.

Gary was a remarkable individual, I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to know and work with him. Whether it was his abundant humor,  endless energy, or just his love of life, he has left me to ponder how much better this world would be, if we could all be a little more like Gary. My condolences to Gary's family and to his fiance' for their loss.  I met Gary here at Schneider National and enjoyed working with him. Although I only had the pleasure of knowing him for a year or so, I am so thankful for that opportunity.  Gary, "Rest In Peace" and you will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed the summers when Gary & Shelly would spend time with us in country Alabama, and the turn around time we spent with them in Atlanta. Gary had a unique laugh. I love him and the family more than they will ever know.

I am so very sad to hear about the passing of Gary. I knew him at CHS, and also had the pleasure of catching up with him at a CHS reunion picnic a while back. He was exactly the same, sweet, big smile, and always laughing. He spoke of his love for his son. I am so sorry for his loss. Gary was a special guy, anyone remember his denim vest paired with his bell bottom jeans look circa. 1981? Only Gary could pull that look off. He was a sweetheart to many and will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences go out to his family and dear friends.

Gary was the kind of patient that made an impression on everyone involved in his care. He was so funny and never missed an opportunity to make a joke. In fact, his room became the most popular on the floor! He never doubted that God was with him during his battle with cancer, and his special story of God's message to him in the clouds will remain with me always. I pray that his family and loved ones will also find the peace that Gary knew was waiting for him. It was a privilege and a blessing to care for him, and he will remain in my heart forever. Peace be with you, always.

Gary was a joy to have around.  He was always kind and gentle to ALL including the parents of his friend, Joey Cochran. Memories of Gary will be forever in our hearts.  GOD is LOVE!

It was a pleasure knowing Gary the last few years of his life. He encouraged me and helped me in my business on numerus occasions. My prayers go out to the family.

Gary was A great guy, always up beat, I was luckey to have known him. He will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

I met Gary while in middle school. I had a blast running track with him. If there was a crowd laughing you could bet money Gary was in the middle of it because if you were with Gary you were guaranteed to be laughing.  Miss you brother!

In the 25 years since I met Gary, I don't think I ever heard him speak an unkind word to or about anyone. He was one of the most genuinely sweet people I have ever met. His smile and personality could melt the Grinch's cold heart, and his barking dog imitation could always make a person laugh, no matter how many times they had heard it! I feel privileged that I called him "friend", and my heart is broken at the thought that he is gone. I know, though, he is at peace and without pain. I pray the same peace will wash over his family as they grieve his loss.

Gary and I grew up together, played football together and played in a band together. Even though we lost touch over the years, I'm glad we were able to spend some time together before his passing still laughing and telling stories. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Life for his family and friends will never be the same.  Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

Always smiling , always laughing. I never knew where he got all of that energy. He made a wonderful impression on all of us and he will really be missed.

Gary was always positive and never said a anything negative about anyone. His smile was contagious. He will be truly missed. We know he's spreading joy in heaven. May his legacy live on in Brandon. We love you!

I went to HS with Gary and remember how funny, cute, optimistic, and popular he was. I never heard an unkind word to anyone. 30 yrs. later we reunited as friends again and neighbors. Nothing had changed. He was still the guy I remembered from HS. A special man who would absolutely do anything for anyone. He was one of the good guys.  He will we missed by many.

Where to start........Gary was a most special person.  Nothing seemed to get him down, always a positive outlook.  His laugh was infectious and he always had a smile on his face.  He loved to make others happy and always had something nice to say to make your day.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Gary was an inspirational person for me when I was younger. He's in a better place now and I know he's smiling.

Gary was always one of the happiest and kindest guys. Don't know of anyone who he did not get along with or visa versa. A great, humble, friend, teammate and one heck of a talented athlete. I was fortunante to grow up with him as a close neighbor. His witty humor and constant smile was always present and allowed us all love him dearly.  May his family have peace in knowing he will never be forgotten and we look forward to seeing him again. I can't imagine Gary Hall having an enemy. He was easy to meet, easy to talk to, full of energy, and loved life. Like a universal blood donor, Gary was a universal friend. My fondest memories of him include his hot cinnamon toothpicks ("You want one?"), his train horn sound effect (enough to make you slam on the brakes), his ability to pretend to be caught in a tornado while holding his body horizontal by grabbing a pole, and him dancing to every song at every reunion, even if he was on crutches. Yes, those are funny things to remember, but that was Gary. Thanks for all the beautiful pictures of sunsets when you were on cross-country trips, Gary. I'll think of you when I look at the setting sun.

You always made me laugh and I'll never forget you.

The ultimate 'teammate.' I remember fondly the smile on Gary's face and the determination to do his best on the baseball field at all times. He never sought attention for himself, but always put his teammates first. He made coaching a pleasure and I am sure he took the same qualities that made him a great friend to so many into being a terrific dad for his son.
