Glen is survived by his wife, Nancy Brickey; daughter Susan Brickey Crawford; son Glen R. and his wife Laura Brickey; and son Daniel Thomas Brickey; brother Robert Brickey, brother Thomas Brickey, sister Mary Jane Newman and sister Helen Manning; grandchildren Anna, Amber, Jennifer, Alex, Taylor, and David. Glen was preceded in death by his son James Edwin Brickey; sisters Dorothy Harrell and Edith Corbett.
Glen was member of the "Greatest Generation" and served our country honorably during WWll in the US Army. He obtained the rank of SSGT and his unit was instrumental during the invasion of Normandy. After his service commitment, Glen joined the business world as small business owner in the Insurance and Real Estate industries.
A chapel service for Glen will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019, 11:00 am at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Glen's memory may be made to Haywood Christian Ministry, 150 Branner Ave, Waynesville, North Carolina 28786.
